The VCOIL Tang Break Inserting Tool No.13 is a compact, purpose-built tool designed to remove the tang from thread inserts after installation. Its simple, intuitive design makes it suitable for professionals and hobbyists alike, delivering a clean, secure result so your insert is ready to use.
Two reliable tang-removal options give you flexible control over your workflow: for inserts starting from M13 and up, use Long Nose Pliers to carefully extract the tang; or press the tang break tool through the insert to break the tang cleanly at a predetermined breaking point.
- Dual tang-removal options: choose between strategic tang extraction with Long Nose Pliers or a through-insert break using the tang break tool for quick, adaptable use across different insert sizes.
- Pre-set tang-break point for clean removal: the tang breaks at a designed point, delivering a consistent, debris-free result that keeps inserts ready for immediate use.
- Ergonomic blue handle for confident control: the blue handle offers a comfortable grip and precise maneuverability in tight spaces, helping you work efficiently with minimal fatigue.

Yes! We offer Free Next Day delivery via Royal Mail Tracked 24 on all orders over £50 ex VAT*. We also offer Free DPD Local Next Day delivery on all orders over £100 ex VAT*.
We also offer the following:
- Royal Mail Tracked 24 — £5.90 (FREE on orders over £50 ex VAT*). Order before 4:30pm for next day delivery. No signature required.
- DPD Local Next Day — £8.00 (FREE on orders over £100 ex VAT*). Standard next day delivery to UK mainland addresses.
- Royal Mail Special Delivery — £12.50. Guaranteed delivery before 1pm the next working day.
- DPD Saturday Delivery — £25.00. Must be ordered on Friday before 4pm. Pre-12pm delivery.
