The VCOIL Inserting Tool - Tang Break - No.4 is a precision hand tool designed to install VCOIL thread inserts and simplify tang removal. Sized for No.4 inserts, it's ideal for engineers, machinists, technicians, and hobbyists who need clean, reliable results from every install.
With an integrated tang-break capability, you can finish each installation with a clean break. After seating the insert, you can either press the tang break tool through the insert to snap the tang at a predefined breaking point, or, for inserts starting from M13 and up, use Long Nose Pliers to carefully extract the tang. This combination keeps inserts securely in place and ready for use with minimal cleanup.
