Carmex Carbide Threading Insert – PG, TiAlN coated, 14-18PG is a versatile threading solution designed for professionals who need reliable, multi-profile capability in one compact set. Built for durability and precision, it covers all common thread profiles across several practical lengths.
- Material & coating: Carbide insert with TiAlN coating for enhanced wear resistance and heat tolerance during demanding threading work.
- Profile coverage: A comprehensive collection that supports all common thread profiles with a single, cohesive set.
- Lengths: Five available lengths from 12 mm to 40 mm to fit a wide range of toolholders and machining setups.
- Thread pitch range: Capable of handling pitches from 0.5 mm (32 TPI) up to 6.0 mm (4 TPI), depending on the chosen length.
- Edge design: Double-sided cutting edges provide two usable edges per insert (except for BSPT, NPT, NPTF, American Buttress, and API RD variants).
- Internal/External capability: For many thread profiles, the same insert can machine both internal and external threads, reducing tooling complexity (exceptions: ISO, UN, NPSM, UNJ, Acme).

- DPD Local Next Day — £8.00 (FREE on orders over £100 ex VAT*). Standard next day delivery to UK mainland addresses.
- Royal Mail Special Delivery — £12.50. Guaranteed delivery before 1pm the next working day.
- DPD Saturday Delivery — £25.00. Must be ordered on Friday before 4pm. Pre-12pm delivery.
