The Carmex Carbide Threading Insert (NPSF, TiAlN coated) is a versatile carbide insert designed to tackle a wide range of common thread profiles with reliability. Built for machinists and job shops, it pairs robust performance with one adaptable tool platform.
- Thread profiles covered: A versatile collection that spans all common thread profiles in a single system, reducing the need for multiple inserts.
- Five length options: Available in five lengths from 12 mm to 40 mm, supporting pitches from 0.5 mm (32 TPI) to 6.0 mm (4 TPI).
- Double-sided cutting edges: Each insert has two cutting edges for extended life (except BSPT / NPT / NPTF / American Buttress / API RD).
- Internal & external threading capability: For many profiles, the same insert can machine both internal and external threads, minimizing tool changes (except ISO / UN / NPSM / UNJ / Acme).
- TiAlN coating on carbide: TiAlN provides enhanced wear and heat resistance to help maintain thread quality at higher speeds.
This insert family is designed to boost productivity by combining broad profile coverage, multiple edge life, and versatility across internal and external threading tasks. Yes! We offer Free Next Day delivery via Royal Mail Tracked 24 on all orders over £50 ex VAT*. We also offer Free DPD Local Next Day delivery on all orders over £100 ex VAT*.

- Royal Mail Special Delivery — £12.50. Guaranteed delivery before 1pm the next working day.
- DPD Saturday Delivery — £25.00. Must be ordered on Friday before 4pm. Pre-12pm delivery.
