The Carmex Carbide Threading Insert – NPSF, TiAlN coated – 30-8NPSF is a versatile family designed to cover the most common thread profiles in a single, reliable tool. Built for professional workshops and production environments, this TiAlN-coated carbide insert focuses on durability, precision, and efficiency.
- Comprehensive thread coverage: A versatile collection that spans the most common thread profiles, reducing the need to stock multiple inserts.
- Five length options (12–40 mm): Choose from fiveLengths to suit different hole sizes and pitches, enabling cuts for pitches from 0.5 mm / 32 TPI up to 6.0 mm / 4 TPI.
- TiAlN coating: TiAlN coating enhances wear resistance and supports higher-speed cutting for longer tool life.
- Double‑sided cutting edges: Each insert provides two cutting edges (except for BSPT / NPT / NPTF / American Buttress / API RD), maximizing usable life per insert.
- Internal/external threading capability: For many thread profiles, the same insert can machine both internal and external threads (note: certain profiles are excluded, such as ISO / UN / NPSM / UNJ / Acme).
This insert set is designed to streamline threading operations, delivering consistent thread forms across materials while reducing the need for frequent tool changes. Yes! We offer Free Next Day delivery via Royal Mail Tracked 24 on all orders over £50 ex VAT*. We also offer Free DPD Local Next Day delivery on all orders over £100 ex VAT*.

- DPD Local Next Day — £8.00 (FREE on orders over £100 ex VAT*). Standard next day delivery to UK mainland addresses.
- Royal Mail Special Delivery — £12.50. Guaranteed delivery before 1pm the next working day.
- DPD Saturday Delivery — £25.00. Must be ordered on Friday before 4pm. Pre-12pm delivery.
