The Carmex Carbide Threading Insert is a TiAlN-coated carbide tool designed for professionals who machine NPSM and a wide range of common thread profiles. Built for durability and consistent results, it offers versatile coverage across multiple pitches and workpiece sizes.
- TiAlN coating: Improves hardness and heat resistance for longer tool life and steadier performance in demanding threading tasks.
- Five lengths: Available from 12 mm to 40 mm, providing flexible reach to suit small to larger workpieces.
- Wide thread pitch range: Capable of threading from 0.5 mm (32 TPI) up to 6.0 mm (4 TPI) to cover the most common standards.
- Double-edged design: Each insert has two cutting edges (except for BSPT/NPT/NPTF/American Buttress/API RD), maximizing usage per insert and reducing downtime.
- Internal & external threading capability: For many thread profiles, the same insert can machine both internal and external threads, with exceptions for ISO/UN/NPSM/UNJ/Acme.
- NPSM compatibility: Specifically suited for NPSM threads and related profiles encountered in industrial components and hydraulic fittings.

- DPD Saturday Delivery — £25.00. Must be ordered on Friday before 4pm. Pre-12pm delivery.
