- Varied lengths: 5 lengths from 12 mm to 40 mm to fit a wide range of thread depths and applications.
- Pitch range: Capable of handling pitches from 0.5 mm (32 TPI) to 6.0 mm (4 TPI) for both fine and coarse thread work.
- TiAlN coating: TiAlN coating enhances wear resistance and heat tolerance, extending insert life in demanding materials and ongoing production runs.
- Double‑sided cutting edges: Two cutting edges per insert (except for BSPT/NPT/NPTF/American Buttress/API RD) for better tool life and reduced downtime.
- Internal/External capability: For many thread profiles, the same insert can machine both internal and external threads, simplifying tooling (exceptions: ISO/UN/NPSM/UNJ/Acme).
