- Length options: Available in 5 lengths ranging from 12 mm to 40 mm to fit different tools and applications.
- Pitch range supported: Handles pitches from 0.5 mm (32 TPI) up to 6.0 mm (4 TPI), covering the most common threading needs.
- Two cutting edges (double-sided): Each insert provides two cutting edges to extend life and reduce tool changes (except for BSPT/NPT/NPTF/American Buttress/API RD).
- Internal/External threading versatility: For many thread profiles, the same insert can machine both internal and external threads (with exceptions such as ISO/UN/NPSM/UNJ/Acme).
- Coating and material: Carbide substrate with TiAlN coating delivers hardness, wear resistance, and better heat tolerance for demanding materials.
