Description
The Dormer Pramet A123 4.80 mm HSS Sheet Metal Stub Drill (DIN 1897) is a compact, durable tool designed for thin sheet metal work. Its short stub design gives you precise control in tight spots, making it ideal for workshops, maintenance tasks, light fabrication, and hobby projects where clean, accurate holes matter.
A 120° conventional point with a thin core helps the drill start quickly and self-center in thin materials, reducing the push force and guiding the bit to the intended location. The steam oxide finish minimizes sticking of workpiece material to the cutting edge for smoother cuts and longer edge life. Built from premium HSS, it can drill a range of metals including steel, aluminium, and stainless steel, while its sheet-metal specialization delivers reliable results in thin gauges.
