Description
The Dormer Pramet A170 is a 1 inch diameter HSS straight shank jobber drill designed for reliable performance in everyday metalworking. With a 1/2 inch parallel shank, it fits standard chucks in handheld power tools and machines, making it a practical choice for both job sites and workshop benches. The 118 degree conventional point provides a strong, easy-to-reground cutting edge, helping you start holes cleanly and accurately.
A steam oxide finish reduces friction and helps prevent workpiece material from sticking to the edge, supporting smoother chip flow and cleaner holes across steel, aluminium, and stainless steel.
