Dormer Pramet A510 17/64 Inch HSS TiN ADX STRAIGHT SHANK JOBBER DRILL DIN 338

The Dormer Pramet A510 17/64 Inch HSS TiN ADX Straight Shank Jobber Drill (DIN 338) is a versatile high-speed steel drill designed for precise hole-making across steel, aluminum, and stainless steel. With a straight shank and standard jobber length, it fits most common drill chucks and is ideal for workshops and professional environments that need reliable, repeatable results at a practical diameter of 17/64 inch.

The 130-degree thinned point helps with self-centering and reduces the push force required to begin cutting, while the Titanium Nitride coating extends drill life and enhances performance when working with tougher materials. Convex cutting edges improve chip breakage for easier clearance, enabling higher cutting speeds and feeds for faster, cleaner holes.

• 130° Thinned Point for Easy Start and Self-Centering: Promotes accurate hole starts with less initial resistance, reducing chatter and improving first-pass hole quality.
• TiN Coating for Longer Life and Hard-Material Performance: Increases wear resistance and durability, delivering longer service life and steadier performance on steel, stainless, and other hard metals.
• Convex Cutting Edges for Efficient Chip Breakage: Improves chip control and clearance, allowing higher speeds and feeds with cleaner holes and less clogging.

With these features, the A510 17/64" drill consistently produces accurate holes (H9 tolerance) while supporting faster production and reduced downtime. It’s a trusted choice for engineers, machinists, and hobbyists who need dependable performance across a range of materials without sacrificing precision.
