Dormer Pramet A510 3.70 mm HSS TiN ADX STRAIGHT SHANK JOBBER DRILL DIN 338

The Dormer Pramet A510 3.70 mm HSS TiN ADX straight shank jobber drill (DIN 338) is a versatile drilling tool designed for reliable, precise hole making across a variety of metals. Ideal for engineers, machinists, tradespeople, and hobbyists, it delivers clean starts and dependable performance in everyday metalworking tasks.

With a 130° thinned point for self-centering and reduced push force, a Titanium Nitride coating to extend tool life, and convex cutting edges that break chips for easier evacuation, this drill is built to work hard and stay productive—from simple steel work to aluminum and stainless applications.

• 130° thinned point for self-centering and lower starting effort: Ensures clean Starts and reduces the force needed to begin drilling, improving accuracy and reducing tool deflection.
• Titanium Nitride (TiN) coating for longer life: Increases wear resistance and delivers better performance when drilling harder materials, extending intervals between regrinds or replacements.
• Convex cutting edges for chip control and faster feeds: Promotes efficient chip breakage and evacuation, enabling higher cutting speeds and feeds with smoother operation.

These design features translate into reliable, repeatable results across steel, aluminium, and stainless steels. The A510 delivers high-quality holes with tight h9 tolerances at higher speeds and feeds, while the ADX straight shank ensures quick, secure tool changes on standard chucks. For shops, maintenance teams, and hobbyists, that means less downtime, fewer reworks, and confident drilling from first hole to last.
