Carmex FSH Thread Mills are high‑performance solid carbide tools designed for precise thread milling in hard materials. Built for professionals working with UNC/UNF/UNEQ/UNS thread forms, these No. 5 and No. 6 mills with an MT3 shank deliver reliable, consistent results in demanding applications.

  • Thread sizes: No. 5 and No. 6 in UNC/UNF/UNEQ/UNS standards for versatile fastener compatibility
  • Shank: MT3 solid carbide for rigid mounting and accurate toolholding
  • Flute count: Up to 7 flutes to enhance load distribution and chip evacuation in tough materials
  • Coating: Ultra‑fine MT3 grade with a multi‑layer PVD coating for heat and wear resistance
  • Material suitability: Optimized for hard materials up to 65 HRC and demanding superalloys
  • Cutting geometry: Fast type design that improves material removal and thread formation efficiency

These thread mills pair a multi‑flute arrangement with a robust coating to maintain cutting stability, even under higher speeds and heavier feeds common when working with hardened steels, nickel alloys, and titanium. The result is cleaner thread profiles, tighter tolerances, and extended tool life in challenging machining environments. Yes! We offer Free Next Day delivery via Royal Mail Tracked 24 on all orders over £50 ex VAT*. We also offer Free DPD Local Next Day delivery on all orders over £100 ex VAT*.

We also offer the following:

  • Royal Mail Tracked 24 — £5.90 (FREE on orders over £50 ex VAT*). Order before 4:30pm for next day delivery. No signature required.
  • DPD Local Next Day — £8.00 (FREE on orders over £100 ex VAT*). Standard next day delivery to UK mainland addresses.
  • Royal Mail Special Delivery — £12.50. Guaranteed delivery before 1pm the next working day.
  • DPD Saturday Delivery — £25.00. Must be ordered on Friday before 4pm. Pre-12pm delivery.
