Description
The Carmex Polygon Swiss Line Insert (right-hand configuration) is a precision indexable tool designed for Swiss-type lathes and automatic turning centers. Built for high-volume production, it enables external grooving, back/front turning, profiling, thread turning, parting, and general turning with reliable, repeatable results.
- On-machine indexing: Inserts can be indexed directly on the machine, reducing downtime and enabling quick tool life management without removing the tool from the holder.
- Grounded cutting edges: Provide stable, precise cuts and consistent finishes, helping to minimize chatter and extend insert life in demanding turning operations.
- Abrasion-resistant coated holders: Coated holders resist wear and heat, boosting tool life and maintaining accuracy across long-running programs and tough materials.
By combining on-machine indexing, durable cutting edges, and wear-resistant coatings, this insert supports faster setups, more consistent part quality, and lower tooling costs in high-volume Swiss-type production. - DPD Local Next Day — £8.00 (FREE on orders over £100 ex VAT*). Standard next day delivery to UK mainland addresses.
- Royal Mail Special Delivery — £12.50. Guaranteed delivery before 1pm the next working day.
- DPD Saturday Delivery — £25.00. Must be ordered on Friday before 4pm. Pre-12pm delivery.
