Description
The Widin Live Centre is an economical, carbide-tipped live center designed to support turning tasks with minimal interference. Its minimized body reduces bite and chatter, helping you achieve cleaner finishes on a wide range of materials.
Available with Morse taper options No. 3 and No. 6, this center fits common lathes and applications. A CAP rotation design helps prevent the inflow of foreign substances, while delivering precise guidance and reliable support during high-speed turning.
- Carbide tipped for durability and precision: The carbide tip resists wear for longer life and maintains a sharp center, delivering consistent, repeatable accuracy across frequent use.
- Minimized body design for less bite interference: A slim profile reduces contact with the workpiece and tooling, enabling smoother setups and cleaner cuts in tight spaces.
- Wide Morse taper compatibility with debris protection: Available in No. 3 and No. 6 Morse tapers and featuring a CAP rotation design to help keep foreign substances out of the bearing area, boosting reliability.
Runout is exceptionally tight—0.00012" to 0.00024" (0.003 mm to 0.006 mm)—helping you maintain part accuracy across runs. Yes! We offer Free Next Day delivery via Royal Mail Tracked 24 on all orders over £50 ex VAT*. We also offer Free DPD Local Next Day delivery on all orders over £100 ex VAT*.

- Royal Mail Tracked 24 — £5.90 (FREE on orders over £50 ex VAT*). Order before 4:30pm for next day delivery. No signature required.
- DPD Local Next Day — £8.00 (FREE on orders over £100 ex VAT*). Standard next day delivery to UK mainland addresses.
- Royal Mail Special Delivery — £12.50. Guaranteed delivery before 1pm the next working day.
- DPD Saturday Delivery — £25.00. Must be ordered on Friday before 4pm. Pre-12pm delivery.
