The Carmex Carbide Tiny Tool - Boring Bar (MTL - K20 Grade) is a compact, solid carbide solution designed for small-diameter boring and reliable general turning. With a 5.1 mm minimum diameter, a 15 mm reach, and a left-hand orientation with an R0.2 corner, it delivers precise, repeatable bore quality in tight spaces. Built for tough shop environments, this tool ensures consistent results across a range of materials.
This tool line offers two coatings to match your material and speed needs. The BXC grade uses a PVD TiN coating optimized for low cutting speeds and performs well with stainless steels (ISO ranges P30–P50 / K25–K40). The BMK grade features a sub‑micron carbide core with an advanced PVD triple coating for extremely high heat resistance and smooth cutting across many materials, making it a versatile choice for general-purpose use.
