Description

The Carmex Carbide Tiny Tool – Boring Bar is a solid carbide bar built for precision small-diameter work. It’s designed primarily for boring but also capable of handling general turning tasks, delivering dependable, repeatable results in tight spaces. The tool is offered in MTL with K20-grade carbide, providing a rigid core that helps maintain accuracy through multiple passes.

  • Dual coating options for versatile, high‑quality cuts: Choose BXC TiN for low cutting speeds and broad stainless steel performance (ISO P30–P50 / K25–K40), or BMK with a sub‑micron, triple‑coated finish for exceptional heat resistance and smooth cutting across a wide range of materials.
  • Compact bore geometry for tight pockets: With a 5.1 mm minimum diameter, 22 mm reach, and a left‑hand R0.2 nose, it reaches into narrow bores and maintains consistent engagement for precise depth control.
  • Durable carbide core with protective coatings: The solid carbide core delivers rigidity and wear resistance, while the advanced coatings minimize wear and heat buildup to support reliable performance across materials and over extended use.

This tiny tool is built to streamline your workflow: it handles boring and general turning in small-diameter components with stable cuts, predictable finishes, and minimal tool changes. The combination of the K20-grade carbide and specialized coatings helps you achieve repeatable bore accuracy, faster cycle times, and extended tool life in a wide range of materials, including stainless steels.
