The Carmex Carbide Mini Thread Mill MT7 is a compact, high-performance threading tool designed for metric M2 x 0.4 threads. It excels in tight spaces while delivering precise internal and external threads with efficient, high-speed machining.

- Material and coating: MT7 sub-micron carbide with a titanium aluminium nitride multi-layer coating (ISO K10–K20)
- Cutting speeds: Optimized for medium to high cutting speeds to shorten cycle times
- Profile: Short tool profile reduces cutting forces and lowers the risk of tap damage
- Flute design: Spiral flutes (3–5) provide smooth cutting action and efficient chip evacuation
- Coolant through flutes: Through-flute coolant improves cooling and lubrication in deep-hole threading
- Versatility: One tool can produce a wide range of thread pitches and both external and internal threads
- Material capability: Suitable for machining hardened materials up to 45 HRc
- Durability: Special triple coating extends tool life and maintains performance over time
This mini thread mill enables deep-hole threading with efficient coolant flow, delivering consistent thread quality across a variety of materials.
