Engineered for standard precision, this collet delivers very tight run-out (under 10 μm) and a robust coolant-sealing design. The nose features a non-overlapping longitudinal slot arrangement to minimize coolant leakage. Note: newer versions have no rubber seal on the nose. To maintain the seal, use solely round shank tooling with no clamping flats; tools with flats will render the seal ineffective.
