Omega’s ER16 Collet is a coolant-sealed, standard-precision toolholder accessory designed for round-shank cutting tools used in milling, drilling, and precision machining. With run-out under 10 μm, it helps deliver consistent concentricity for clean finishes and longer tool life across a range of applications. Its 3–10 mm clamping range makes it a versatile choice for common end mills and small-form tooling.

Note on design: newer versions remove the rubber seal on the nose, and the slot arrangement is designed so longitudinal slots do not overlap at the centre, reducing coolant leakage. To preserve the seal and performance, use only round-shank tooling with no clamping flats; tools with flats will render these collets ineffective.
