The Carmex Small Indexable Carbide Insert is designed for precise, full-radius face grooves with a compact, indexable form. Built for professionals seeking reliable external grooving on stainless steels, cast iron, titanium, and other challenging alloys.
- External full-radius grooving: creates round grooves with a true full-radius profile for consistent geometry.
- Minimum bore Ø: 12.0 mm (0.47 in).
- Width: 1.6 mm.
- Radius: R0.8.
- Grade and coating: carbide insert with BLU PVD triple-layer coating (sub-micron grade).
- Material suitability: optimized for stainless steels, cast iron, titanium, non-ferrous metals, and most high-temperature alloys (M10–M20, K05–K20, N10–N20, S10–S20).
- Indexable design: allows quick insert indexing to maintain consistent groove geometry and reduce downtime.
