The Carmex Small Indexable Carbide Insert for external face grooving delivers precise, full-radius grooves in tight spaces. Designed for small-diameter bores, it pairs robust carbide with a BLU PVD triple-layer coating to handle a wide range of metals and alloys with reliable performance.
- Groove geometry: External face grooving with a full-radius groove (R1.25) for smooth cutting action and consistent groove profiles.
- Min bore: External minimum bore diameter of 12.0 mm (0.47 in) to accommodate compact applications.
- Width: 2.5 mm wide insert for slim, precise groove channels.
- Indexable design: Easy insert changes to maintain cutting quality and minimize downtime.
- Coating / grade: Carbide Grade BLU with a triple-layer PVD coating for enhanced wear resistance.
