The Carmex Small Indexable Carbide Threading Insert is a unified full-profile tool designed for precise internal threading. It supports ISO and UN profiles and covers a broad pitch range, making it ideal for machining internal threads in challenging materials.
- Type: Full-profile, indexable threading insert intended for internal threads only.
- Profiles: Compatible with ISO and UN internal thread profiles for versatile applications.
- Pitch range: Solutions available for pitches from 0.5 mm / 32 TPI to 3.0 mm / 8 TPI.
- Minimum bore: Requires a bore diameter of at least 8.0 mm (0.31 inch).
- Material and coating: Carbide Grade BLU with a triple-layer PVD coating for sub-micron precision on stainless steels, cast iron, titanium, non-ferrous metals, and most high-temperature alloys (M10–M20, K05–K20, N10–N20, S10–S20).
- Size designation: T8
These inserts deliver consistent, clean internal threads with durable wear resistance in demanding materials, helping you achieve tight tolerances and reliable assembly. The BLU PVD coating reduces wear in high-temperature environments, extending tool life and minimizing downtime. - DPD Local Next Day — £8.00 (FREE on orders over £100 ex VAT*). Standard next day delivery to UK mainland addresses.
- Royal Mail Special Delivery — £12.50. Guaranteed delivery before 1pm the next working day.
- DPD Saturday Delivery — £25.00. Must be ordered on Friday before 4pm. Pre-12pm delivery.
