Description
The Widin Carbide Square End Mill is a 2‑flute cutting tool designed for mold and die work, built for precision and reliability. It combines a square end with a robust W coating to deliver fast, stable material removal across a wide diameter range (0.1m to 20.0mm) with tight tolerance. Size: 0.8mm x 2.4mm.
- Gash tooth geometry for reduced flute chipping: The specialized gash tooth design helps prevent flute chipping during aggressive cuts, improving stability and extending tool life in demanding applications.
- W coating for longer tool life and stable machining: The tungsten-based coating reduces wear and heat buildup, delivering longer tool life and more consistent performance under load.
- Wide diameter range with tight tolerance: Cutting diameters from 0.1m to 20.0mm with a tolerance of +0 / -0.012mm provide versatile, precise results for mold and die features and minimize tool changes.
Designed for mold and die machining in materials such as pre‑hardened steel, alloy steel, and carbon steel (below 55 HRc), this end mill supports reliable, repeatable results with a smooth finish. Its combination of durable carbide, precise geometry, and protective coating helps you complete complex cavities and pockets efficiently, reducing downtime and improving overall workflow.
