The OSG Carbide Drill 8XD with WD1 coating is a precision carbide drill engineered for deep-hole work across metalworking, fabrication, and maintenance environments. Designed for professionals who demand clean, accurate holes and long tool life, it combines a deep 8XD reach with reliable cooling and lubrication through the tool.
With a diameter of 11.91 mm (15/32 in.) and an 8XD length-to-diameter ratio, this drill reaches deep into workpieces while maintaining hole quality. The WD1 coating boosts wear resistance for longer tool life in challenging materials, and the integrated oil-hole drilling with through coolant delivers coolant directly to the cutting edge for efficient chip evacuation and temperature control.
