The Dormer Pramet A413 M4 HSS straight shank drill with a 180° counter bore is designed to create counterbored clearance holes for standard metric threads (for example M4). Its 118° pilot paired with the 180° counter bore delivers the correct clearance diameter and depth for standard threads, helping ensure reliable assembly on both CNC and conventional machines.
Crafted from premium high-speed steel, this tool handles a range of materials including steel, aluminium, and stainless steel. The steam oxide finish helps prevent workpiece material from sticking to the cutting edge, promoting smoother cutting and reducing buildup in busy shops.
