Description
The Dormer Pramet R520 is a 14.20 mm carbide drill with a TiN coating and a CDX straight shank, built to DIN 6539 standards. It’s designed for professionals and hobbyists who need dependable, precise hole creation across a range of metals, including steel, aluminum, and stainless steel.
Key features work together to improve drilling efficiency: a 130° point for self-centering and reduced push force, a Titanium Nitride coating that extends tool life and enhances performance on harder materials, and convex cutting edges that promote easier chip breakage and allow higher cutting speeds and feeds.
