Carmex Polygon Swiss Line Insert - Grooving - Right Hand - GD25RW07T19BLU

The Carmex Polygon Swiss Line Insert for Grooving is a purpose-built, indexable tool designed for Swiss-type and automatic lathes. It excels at high‑volume external grooving, back/front turning, profiling, thread turning, parting, and general turning, delivering consistent accuracy and cost‑efficient performance across demanding production runs.

Designed for a wide range of users—from engineers to shop-floor technicians—the insert features grounded cutting edges for clean, consistent cuts and predictable wear. It can be indexed directly on the machine, enabling quick tool changes without removing the holder, while the coated holders provide abrasion resistance for longer life in demanding materials.

• Grounded cutting edges: Ensures smooth, dimensional accuracy and longer insert life for consistent finishes on high-volume runs.
• In‑machine indexability: Allows quick, tool-free indexing directly on Swiss/automatic lathes, reducing downtime and setup time.
• Abrasion‑resistant coated holders: Extends tool life in tough materials and maintains precision through heavy-duty grooving and turning.

The combination of precise edge geometry, on‑machine indexing, and durable coatings helps you streamline production, minimize downtime, and achieve reliable, repeatable results across complex turning and grooving tasks. This translates to faster runtimes, fewer interruptions, and consistently higher-quality parts.
