The Carmex Carbide Tiny Tool is a dedicated threading bar designed for tight spaces. This MIR 55° partial-profile tool aims to deliver precise 55° threads in small bores, making it a reliable choice for engineers, technicians, and hobbyists who regularly work in confined cavities.
With a compact 3.2 mm diameter and a 15 mm reach, it is suited for bore projects down to 1.2 mm (0.05 in). The tool comes in two coated grades to match material and speed needs, providing consistent threading performance across a range of stainless steels and other metals.
- 55° partial-profile threading design: Enables accurate, repeatable threads in tight or recessed bores, reducing setup time and improving reliability in small-workpiece applications.
- PVD TiN coated BXC grade for stainless steels: Optimized for low cutting speeds, delivering enhanced wear resistance and longer tool life when threading stainless steels (ISO P30-P50 / K25-K40).
- BMK sub-micron grade with triple coating: Delivers exceptional heat resistance and smooth cutting across materials, making it a versatile, general-purpose option for demanding threading tasks.
