The Carmex Carbide Tiny Tool is a partial‑profile threading bar engineered for 55° thread forms. Its compact size makes it ideal for engineers, shop technicians, and hobbyists who need precise, repeatable threading in tight bores and miniatures. Designed to work with a wide range of materials, it delivers reliable performance where space is at a premium.
- 55° Partial-Profile design: Optimized for 55° thread profiles in confined spaces, providing accurate form and stable engagement in small bores.
- BXC TiN coating for stainless steels: PVD TiN coating reduces wear at low cutting speeds, helping maintain edge integrity and extend tool life on stainless steels (ISO P30‑P50 / K25‑K40).
- BMK sub-micron grade with triple coating: Advanced PVD triple coating delivers excellent heat resistance and smooth cutting across a broad material range, delivering dependable performance for demanding or general threading tasks.
With a left‑hand configuration and a 5.1 mm minimum diameter x 22 mm reach, this tiny carbide tool is ready for hard-to-reach threads while maintaining strong cutting geometry. It also supports a minimum bore diameter of 1.2 mm (0.05 in), making it suitable for micro‑threading applications.
