The Carmex Carbide Tiny Tool is a solid carbide bar engineered specifically for deep face grooving. It’s built for professionals and serious hobbyists who need precise grooves in tight spaces, especially when working with stainless steels. Key dimensions include a 12 mm minimum diameter, 2 mm groove width, and 15 mm groove depth, enabling compact, accurate grooves with reliable repeatability. Note: this product line does not include bars for left-hand operations.

To match different cutting conditions, this tool is offered with two coating options. BXC is a PVD TiN-coated grade designed for low cutting speeds and dependable performance on stainless steels (ISO P30-P50 / K25-K40). BMK is a sub-micron grade with an advanced PVD triple coating, providing extremely high heat resistance, smooth cutting, and broad applicability as a general-purpose solution for all materials.
