The Omega ER20 Collet is a coolant-sealed, standard-precision tool holder designed for ER20 chucks and round-shank tooling. It provides secure, repeatable grip for CNC milling and related operations with a clamping range of 3–13 mm.
Its precision is stated as less than 10 μm run-out, delivering consistent tool alignment across setups. Note that newer versions have no rubber seal on the nose. The design uses non-overlapping longitudinal slots to minimize coolant loss. For best results, use only round-shank tooling with no clamping flats—tools with flats will render the seal ineffective.
