The Vortex 5C Imperial Lathe Collet – Hex 1/2" is a flexible, emergency collet designed for 5C lathe setups. It lets you tailor the bore to fit a 1/2" hex workpiece and hold tight tolerances in a compact, reusable tool.

This collet is ideal for shops needing customized fits without buying multiple standard sizes. By allowing precise boring to the exact component dimensions, it reduces misalignment and improves repeatability on custom or prototyping parts. The built-in opening pins keep the collet stable during boring, minimizing chatter, while the ability to re-bore extends the life of the tool as part requirements evolve. - DPD Local Next Day — £8.00 (FREE on orders over £100 ex VAT*). Standard next day delivery to UK mainland addresses.
- Royal Mail Special Delivery — £12.50. Guaranteed delivery before 1pm the next working day.
- DPD Saturday Delivery — £25.00. Must be ordered on Friday before 4pm. Pre-12pm delivery.
