Description

The Y.T. UFO Indexable Holder HSS is a durable, easy-to-use tool holder designed for indexable inserts in a UFO-style system. It’s suitable for a wide audience—from engineers and buyers to tradespeople and hobbyists—who value reliable cutting performance and straightforward setup.

Built around a CB3 shank made from high-speed steel with 58 HRC, this holder offers good heat resistance and rigidity for steady cutting at typical machining speeds. It supports four shank designs and different lengths to fit inserts from 10 to 80 mm and 11 different profiles, giving you flexible coverage across many applications.

  • CB3 HSS Shank – 58 HRC: The hardened HSS shank delivers heat resistance and rigidity for stable cutting at higher speeds, helping maintain accuracy and tool life.
  • Broad insert compatibility: Compatible with inserts ranging from 10 to 80 mm in diameter and 11 profiles, enabling a single holder to cover multiple tasks and reduce tool changes.
  • Precise geometry for repeatable seating: Blade diameter 10–12 mm, overall length 80 mm, and neck diameter 7.9 mm are engineered for secure seating and repeatable alignment in standard setups.
