Description
The Carmex Vertical Milling CMT Multi Flute Insert - Grooving - SG200EW25TMT8 is a vertical milling indexable insert system designed to tackle threads, grooves, chamfers and more with consistent, repeatable results. It combines precisely ground inserts with purpose-built tool holders to support a wide range of operations, making it well-suited for engineers, machinists, and workshops that demand reliability in demanding production environments.
Ground-profile inserts deliver high precision and excellent performance, enabling high machining parameters while maintaining a smooth, high-quality surface finish. The system uses a solid, accurate clamping method to ensure full repeatability, and the same insert can thread both right-hand or left-hand parts, simplifying inventory and changeovers. Toolholders include a Weldon shank and a coolant bore, and chamfer inserts are also available to extend capability without introducing a new platform.
- Ground-profile inserts for ultra-precise performance: Achieve accurate thread, groove, and chamfer geometry with outstanding surface quality even at high machining parameters, delivering consistent, repeatable results.
- Universal RH/LH threading with a single insert: Swap between right-hand and left-hand parts without changing the insert, reducing tool inventory and setup time while keeping tolerances tight.
- Rigid, coolant-ready toolholding: Weldon-shank compatible toolholders with coolant bore provide secure, repeatable clamping and effective cooling for longer insert life and cleaner chips.
