Description
Carmex SG350FW80TMT8 Vertical Milling CMT Multi Flute Insert – Grooving is a purpose-built set of vertical milling indexable inserts and tool holders designed to tackle threads, grooves, chamfers, and more in a single, versatile system. Built for shop floors and production environments, it delivers precise geometry and reliable performance across a wide range of applications—from heavy grooving to fine-threading.
With ground profile inserts for high precision and excellent surface quality, this system supports high machining parameters while maintaining consistent results. The solid, accurate clamping method ensures full repeatability, and the same insert can be used for both right- and left-hand threads, simplifying setup and reducing tool inventory. Toolholders include a Weldon shank and a coolant bore, and chamfer inserts are also available to complete your milling toolkit.
- Ground profile for precision and surface quality: Ground profile inserts deliver high precision and excellent surface finish, even at elevated cutting parameters, ensuring consistent results and longer tool life.
- One insert for both thread directions: The same insert handles right- or left-hand threads, reducing setup time and inventory while maintaining repeatable performance.
- Coolant-ready Weldon shank toolholders: Toolholders with Weldon shank and a coolant bore enable secure mounting, reliable clamping, and efficient coolant delivery for cleaner cuts and longer service life.
