The Carmex Small Indexable Carbide Insert with Full Radius Grooving (T10) is a compact, reliable solution for producing precise round grooves and performing general turning across a range of metals. Designed for machinists who value consistency and edge longevity, it delivers clean radii with repeatable results.
- Grooving Geometry: Full Radius groove inserts capable of producing smooth, round profiles (R0.4).
- Insert Family: Small indexable carbide insert (T10 geometry) for versatile turning and grooving.
- Min Bore Diameter: 8.4 mm (0.33 in) minimum bore to accommodate smaller bores.
- Coating / Grade: BLU PVD triple-layer coated, sub-micron grade for enhanced wear resistance.
- Material Compatibility: Effective on stainless steels, cast iron, titanium, non-ferrous metals, and most high-temperature alloys (M10–M20, K05–K20, N10–N20, S10–S20).
