The Carmex Small Indexable Carbide Insert with full-radius grooving is a compact cutting solution designed for precise internal grooves and versatile turning tasks. It’s built for durability and consistent finishes across a range of materials, including stainless steels, cast iron, titanium, and non‑ferrous metals.
- Full-radius grooving geometry: Produces a true R0.9 full-radius groove for smooth bore surfaces and reliable depth control.
- Minimum bore diameter: 8.4 mm (0.33 in) minimum bore to accommodate small-diameter internal grooves.
- Carbide grade and coating: BLU PVD triple-layer coating on a sub‑micron carbide grade, optimized for stainless steels, cast iron, titanium, non‑ferrous metals, and most high‑temperature alloys.
- Insert format: T10 small indexable insert for easy index and replacement in standard tooling setups.
- Versatile applications: Suitable for grooving tasks as well as general turning jobs, offering flexibility in a single insert.
