Description
Compact indexable carbide insert for full-radius grooving (round grooves) that also handles general turning tasks. Designed for small-tool applications, it delivers precise, repeatable radii and clean finishes.
- Full-radius grooving capability: Produces precise round grooves with a consistent R0.6 profile for reliable part clearance and seating.
- BLU PVD carbide insert: T10 grade with a triple-layer coated, sub-micron carbide for enhanced wear resistance.
- Minimum bore diameter: Suitable for bores starting from 8.4 mm (0.33 in).
- Material cross‑compatibility: Effective on stainless steels, cast iron, titanium, non‑ferrous metals, and most high‑temperature alloys (M10–M20, K05–K20, N10–N20, S10–S20).
- Indexable design: Replaceable insert to reduce tool cost and downtime without retooling.
- Versatile turning capability: Also suitable for general turning tasks beyond grooving.
