Description
Compact indexable carbide insert designed for full-radius grooving and general turning. The Carmex Small insert delivers precise, round grooves (R0.9) with reliable edge life across a range of materials.
- Geometry: Full-radius grooving insert with R0.9 groove profile for clean, tight internal features.
- Min bore: Minimum bore diameter 8.4 mm (0.33 in) compatibility for grooving tools.
- Size/Grade: T8 format, optimized for precision and stability in small-area operations.
- Material: Carbide insert built for high hardness and wear resistance.
- Coating/ Grade: BLU PVD triple-layer coated, sub-micron grade for enhanced life and coating integrity.
- Applications: Primarily grooving with full-radius profiles, also suitable for general turning tasks.
