Description
A Carmex small indexable carbide insert designed for face grooving with a full-radius internal groove. Ideal for tight bore work and demanding materials, delivering precise, smooth grooves and reliable tool life.
- Internal bore compatibility: Ø Min Bore 14.0 mm (0.55 in) for stable, repeatable engagement.
- Radius geometry: Full-radius groove profile (R1.25) to produce rounded internal grooves with even chip load.
- Insert size: T10 insert with 14 mm minimum bore and 2.5 mm width for compact tooling setups.
- Coating and material: Carbide grade BLU with a triple-layer PVD coating (sub-micron grade) for enhanced wear resistance.
- Material compatibility: Suitable for stainless steels, cast iron, titanium, non-ferrous metals, and most high-temperature alloys (M10–M20, K05–K20, N10–N20, S10–S20).
This insert helps you achieve precise, repeatable grooves in challenging materials while delivering extended tool life thanks to the hard-wearing BLU PVD coating and robust carbide substrate.
