Description
Engineered for precise thread validation, the VCOIL Plug Gauge (NoGo) is a UN (STI) right-hand Helicoil gauge designed for quick, reliable go/no-go checks against ANSI/ASME thread standards. It’s ideal for workshops and manufacturing environments that require clear pass/fail parsing of threaded parts.
- Go/No-Go design: A thread limit plug gauge that combines the go end and the no-go end to verify threads against standard specifications.
- Scrap end identification: Scrap side is clearly marked with a red ring for immediate recognition during inspection.
- Go end criteria: The go end must screw into the thread cut into a part by hand, without using excessive force.
- No-Go criteria: The no-go end must not be able to be manually turned more than two turns into the cut thread (without excessive force).
- Standard compliance: Manufactured and assessed in accordance with ANSI/ASME thread system guidelines.
- Reference temperature: The reference temperature for parts and gauges is 20°C.
- Designation: UN (STI) – Right Hand – 3B – 1.3/4 x 8 Helicoil Gauge.
