Carmex Precision Tools — Threading, Milling & Turning Tools for Precision Machining
Carmex Precision Tools Ltd. is a world-leading manufacturer of high-quality carbide cutting tools, founded in 1988 in Maalot, Israel. With over 35 years of experience in precision tooling, Carmex specialises in threading, turning and milling tools that deliver accurate geometry, superior cutting performance and extended tool life across all ISO material groups — from steel and stainless steel to titanium, hardened materials and non-ferrous alloys.
The Carmex threading tool range is one of the most comprehensive available — covering thread turning inserts, solid carbide thread mills, Mill-Thread indexable inserts and holders, Spiral Mill-Thread tools, and specialist threading solutions for micro-precision applications. Carmex thread milling tools are available for all standard thread profiles including ISO Metric, Unified (UN), Whitworth (BSW/BSF), NPT, NPTF, BSP and specialist forms, with grades and coatings suited to every workpiece material.
Carmex turning tools include the internationally renowned Tiny Tools range — the world's smallest indexable threading and turning inserts — designed for micro-precision turning on Swiss-type lathes and CNC multi-spindle machines. The Swiss Line range extends Carmex's capabilities for complex small-part turning, and the full turning programme includes thread turning inserts, grooving inserts, parting off tools, and double-sided DSI inserts for high productivity.
The Carmex milling range covers CMT vertical milling tools, solid carbide end mills, chamfer mills, corner rounding cutters, countersinks and boring tools — all manufactured from sub-micron carbide substrates with advanced PVD coatings for maximum performance and tool life. The CMT (Carmex Milling Technology) system offers a unique vertical insert orientation that delivers excellent surface finish and reduced cutting forces across a wide range of materials.
All Carmex tools are manufactured to ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018 and ISO 13485:2016 quality standards. Carmex products are distributed in over 85 countries worldwide and used extensively in the aerospace, automotive, Formula 1, medical, electronics, die & mould and oil & gas industries.
