BaerCoil UNC thread insert 7/8-9, 1.5 D is a precision stainless steel solution designed to reinforce and extend the life of threaded holes in demanding applications. Crafted from austenitic chromium-nickel steel (AISI 304) with a tensile strength of at least 1400 N/mm2, this insert delivers reliable performance in challenging environments.

Material: AISI 304 stainless steel (austenitic chromium-nickel) with tensile strength ≥ 1400 N/mm2 for robust, corrosion-resistant performance.
Cross-section: Rhombic profile formed by cold-form swaging to maximize grip and space efficiency inside the threaded hole.
Size and length: UNC thread size 7/8-9; length equals 1.5 times the screw diameter (1.5 D) for secure engagement.
Performance advantages: Enhanced wear and abrasion resistance, improved surface finish in the threaded region, and superior corrosion and heat resistance versus standard single-screw connections.
Manufacturing: Cold-form swaging creates a stable rhombic insert that resists backing out under load and vibration.

BaerCoil thread inserts extend the life of critical joints by delivering consistent torque-tension characteristics and easier maintenance in high-wear or high-temperature environments. They help prevent thread failure, preserve base material integrity, and maintain reliable fastener performance across challenging conditions.
