Description
Carmex Carbide Tiny Tool – Face Grooving with Chip Breaker, MFR-C, BXC Grade. This solid carbide bar from the Tiny Tools family is engineered specifically for face grooving, delivering clean, straight grooves with a built-in chip breaker. It’s sized for precise control with an 8 mm minimum diameter and a 3 mm groove width.
- Precisely straight face grooves: Specifically designed for face grooving, this tool produces straight grooves for consistent dimensions and smoother mating surfaces, unlike rounded grooves from other bar types.
- Coating-grade versatility for different conditions: Two coating grades help you match your material and speed needs—BXC with PVD TiN for low cutting speeds (great for stainless steels ISO P30-P50 / K25-K40) and BMK with sub-micron grain and triple PVD coating for high heat resistance and smooth cutting across materials.
- Defined geometry for repeatable results: With an 8 mm minimum diameter and 3 mm groove width, setup is straightforward and ensures reproducible groove profiles across multiple passes.
In use, this tool supports reliable, efficient groove work across a range of stainless steels and other materials. Yes! We offer Free Next Day delivery via Royal Mail Tracked 24 on all orders over £50 ex VAT*. We also offer Free DPD Local Next Day delivery on all orders over £100 ex VAT*.

- DPD Local Next Day — £8.00 (FREE on orders over £100 ex VAT*). Standard next day delivery to UK mainland addresses.
- Royal Mail Special Delivery — £12.50. Guaranteed delivery before 1pm the next working day.
- DPD Saturday Delivery — £25.00. Must be ordered on Friday before 4pm. Pre-12pm delivery.
