Carmex Carbide Tiny Tool - Face Grooving is a solid carbide bar designed specifically for face grooving tasks. Part of the Tiny Tools family, these bars deliver straight grooves with tight dimensional control, ideal for precise fits and clean surface finishes. The tool is built for demanding stainless steels and other materials, with a 6 mm minimum diameter and a 1.5 mm groove width for consistent, repeatable results.
- Straight-groove geometry for face grooving: Engineered to produce clean, straight grooves, ensuring repeatable dimensions and minimal post-processing for reliable assemblies.
- BXC TiN-coated grade for low cutting speeds: Optimized for stainless steels (ISO P30-P50 / K25-K40) to deliver controlled cutting action and longer tool life at lower speeds.
- BMK sub-micron grade with triple coating for high heat resistance: Advanced PVD triple coating with a sub-micron structure provides smooth cutting and broad material compatibility, enhancing performance under demanding conditions.
These bars are built to improve workflow and outcomes across CNC milling and production environments. The combination of straight-groove geometry and specialized coatings helps reduce tool wear and finishing time, delivering consistent groove quality from job to job and across a range of materials.
