Description
Carmex Carbide Tiny Tool - Face Grooving with Chip Breaker, MFL-C, BXC Grade is a precision solid carbide bar designed specifically for face grooving tasks. It creates straight grooves with reliable chip control, making it a dependable choice for engineers, shop floor teams, and hobbyists who demand clean geometry and repeatable results.
Sized for standard setups, this tool features a 6 mm minimum diameter and a 2 mm groove width, with a left-hand orientation to align with common machining sequences and deliver consistent groove dimensions.
- Straight groove with chip-breaker: Delivers clean, straight grooves and controlled chip formation for smooth finishing and reduced downtime from chip buildup.
- BXC Grade with TiN coating: PVD TiN coating supports cutting at lower speeds and performs well with a wide range of stainless steels (ISO P30-P50 / K25-K40), extending tool life and sustaining sharpness.
- Left-hand geometry and carbide durability: Optimized for predictable Performance in standard holders, providing consistent groove width and reliable results across multiple operations.

Yes! We offer Free Next Day delivery via Royal Mail Tracked 24 on all orders over £50 ex VAT*. We also offer Free DPD Local Next Day delivery on all orders over £100 ex VAT*.
We also offer the following:
- Royal Mail Tracked 24 — £5.90 (FREE on orders over £50 ex VAT*). Order before 4:30pm for next day delivery. No signature required.
- DPD Local Next Day — £8.00 (FREE on orders over £100 ex VAT*). Standard next day delivery to UK mainland addresses.
- Royal Mail Special Delivery — £12.50. Guaranteed delivery before 1pm the next working day.
- DPD Saturday Delivery — £25.00. Must be ordered on Friday before 4pm. Pre-12pm delivery.
