The Carmex Carbide Tiny Tool is a solid carbide bar designed for full-radius grooving on small-diameter workpieces. Its compact form and precise geometry deliver accurate internal grooves and dependable performance in tight spaces, making it a practical choice for engineers, shop-floor technicians, and hobbyists alike. It also handles general turning jobs with smooth, stable cuts.
Part of the MKR family, this tool is offered with coated grades to match different materials and speeds. BXC is a PVD TiN coating optimized for low cutting speeds and works well with a wide range of stainless steels (ISO P30-P50 / K25-K40). BMK is a sub-micron grade with an advanced PVD triple coating, providing extremely high heat resistance for maximum performance and smooth cutting across materials. With a 6.1 mm minimum diameter, 1.5 mm groove width, and a 15 mm reach, it fits compact pockets and tight radii without compromising rigidity.
