Description
The Nicon Hard Vee Jaw Set MMV100VJ turns the Nicon MMV-100 machine vice into a holder for round work. Machined vee grooves - one horizontal, one vertical - cradle bar and tube so it sits on centre and stays there under cut.
- Fits: Nicon MMV-100 only. It will not fit the MMV-150 or MMV-160+ (which take the 48 x 160mm set) or the MMV-200 / MMV-200+ (which take the 60 x 200mm set).
- Jaw size: 38mm high x 110mm long.
- Vee grooves: Horizontal and vertical vee grooves cradle round bar and tube, holding it on centre without rolling.
- Round and irregular stock: Clamps shafts, tube and hex stock securely for cross-drilling, slotting and milling flats.
- Direct replacement: Mounts in place of the vice's standard jaws, with no modification to the vice body.
Cross-drilling a shaft, milling flats on round bar or slotting tube all become straightforward jobs rather than fixture problems. The vees locate the work consistently, so repeat parts land in the same place every time.
