Description
The Nicon Soft Steel Jaw Set MMV160SFJ is a machinable blank jaw for the Nicon MMV-150 and MMV-160+ machine vices. Cut it to suit the part in hand and it will hold a form-fitting profile through a long production run without breaking down the way aluminium eventually does.
- Fits: Nicon MMV-150 and MMV-160+. Both vices use the same jaw mounting, so this one set covers either. It will not fit the MMV-100 (which takes the 38 x 110mm set) or the MMV-200 / MMV-200+ (which take the 60 x 200mm set).
- Jaw size: 48mm high x 160mm long.
- Machinable soft steel: Cut the jaws to a custom profile on the machine, run the batch, then re-cut them when the job changes.
- Harder wearing than aluminium: Steel holds a machined profile far longer, making it the better choice for production runs and heavier clamping.
- Direct replacement: Mounts in place of the vice's standard jaws, with no modification to the vice body.
Soft steel is the workhorse choice for dedicated fixturing: profile the jaws once, and every part in the batch locates identically. It clamps harder than aluminium and survives more re-cuts, so a single set can serve several jobs over its life.

Yes! We offer Free Next Day delivery via Royal Mail Tracked 24 on all orders over £50 ex VAT*. We also offer Free DPD Local Next Day delivery on all orders over £100 ex VAT*.

- DPD Local Next Day — £8.00 (FREE on orders over £100 ex VAT*). Standard next day delivery to UK mainland addresses.
- Royal Mail Special Delivery — £12.50. Guaranteed delivery before 1pm the next working day.
- DPD Saturday Delivery — £25.00. Must be ordered on Friday before 4pm. Pre-12pm delivery.
